We have participated in the 2013/14 patient participation directed enhanced service (PP DES).
The PP DES requires practices to develop a patient participation group, agree priorities with the group for inclusion in a local survey, conduct the survey and produce a report detailing actions agreed as a result of the process publicising the results on a practice website.
The doctors and staff at Clay Lane Health Centre have embraced the PP DES as an opportunity to develop engagement and communication with patients to help improve the service that we provide andimprove our responsiveness to the practice population.
